The California Lutheran Forrest Fitness Center, which opened for the 2006/2007 academic year, includes a gymnasium, fields, Olympics aquatic center, classrooms and a fitness center for education, recreation and athletics. Located in the new Gilbert Sports and Fitness Center, the Forrest Fitness Center boasts all new equipment including free weights, selectorized weight machines, a resistance-training circuit and a greatly expanded cardio mezzanine featuring Life Fitness cardiovascular equipment.
The staff of this world-class facility wanted to partner with a leader in the fitness industry to outfit the fitness center for students, athletes, faculty and alumni to enjoy. They chose Life Fitness to provide 100% of the equipment, including both Life Fitness and Hammer Strength products. Life Fitness also worked with the student recreation and fitness departments to design the floor plan for the 9,500 square foot shared multi-purpose fitness and weight training area.
